How Wyoming geography shapes a group trip
The Wyoming markets on this page span about 347 straight-line miles, with Evanston and Gillette at the two ends of a north-east run. Anything crossing most of that is planned around the chauffeur's duty day rather than around the group's wishlist.
1 of our Wyoming markets sit within fifty straight-line miles of Cheyenne, which makes it the natural anchor for multi-town itineraries here. Elsewhere in the state the gaps are wider and the itineraries get simpler by necessity.
Casper, Cody, Evanston and Gillette have no other market we publish inside fifty miles. Work there is quoted as a dedicated run rather than as part of a circuit, and the vehicle is with you for the whole day rather than shuttling between towns.
Census land area across our 10 placed Wyoming markets adds up to about 175 square miles.
We publish 10 Wyoming markets on this hub, 10 of them with a Census reference point precise enough to measure distance from. Those coordinates are what the nearest-market distances on every city page are computed against, and they come from the 2024 Gazetteer rather than from us.
What distinguishes the Wyoming markets we run
These are the Wyoming cities where our own notes carry the most specific detail. Each line is what actually differs about the work there.
- Casper: requests here cluster around Casper Events Center, and pickups run heaviest in Downtown Casper.
- Cheyenne: requests here cluster around Cheyenne Frontier Days Arena, and pickups run heaviest in Downtown Cheyenne.
- Laramie: requests here cluster around War Memorial Stadium, and pickups run heaviest in Downtown Laramie.
- Cody: the Census places it at 10.2 square miles of land.
- Evanston: the Census places it at 10.3 square miles of land.
- Gillette: the Census places it at 23.2 square miles of land.
- Green River: the Census places it at 13.8 square miles of land.
- Jackson: the Census places it at 3.0 square miles of land.
Airports we transfer from in Wyoming
Airport work is quoted differently from an hourly charter: commercial-vehicle access fees, the staging area a coach has to use, and the wait window if a flight slips are all named separately on the total rather than folded into an hourly rate.
- CPRNamed in our notes for Casper
- CYSNamed in our notes for Cheyenne
- LARNamed in our notes for Laramie
What should a Wyoming itinerary call out?
Wyoming has no toll roads. I-80 crosses the southern part of the state and is notoriously windy — trucks are frequently blown off the highway. I-90 crosses the northeast. The drive from Cheyenne to Yellowstone is about 450 miles. Wildlife on roadways (elk, bison, deer, moose) is a constant hazard.
Wyoming is the least populous state in the U.S. with about 577,000 residents. Yellowstone National Park, the world's first national park (1872), contains about half of the world's active geysers.

When Wyoming books up
Summer (June–August) for national park tourism and Frontier Days (July) is when Wyoming bookings stack up. Outside that window we have more of the fleet free, which usually means a better vehicle for the same money rather than the same vehicle for less. Rates here sit mid-range for us. The date does more to move a quote than the market does: a Saturday in the peak window and a Tuesday in the off-season are genuinely different jobs.
Weather and alcohol rules we plan around
Semi-arid continental climate with cold, windy winters and mild summers. Cheyenne averages 82°F in summer and 16°F in January. Wyoming is the windiest state. Mountain areas receive heavy snow. Yellowstone can see snow any month of the year.
Alcohol, open-container and service rules vary by county, and we plan the itinerary inside them. Ask us to spell out what applies to your run and we will put it in your contract. Wyoming allows alcohol sales at grocery stores, convenience stores, and liquor stores. Bars serve until 2 AM. The state has few alcohol restrictions. Charter vehicles may serve alcohol to passengers of legal age with minimal regulatory burden.
